In the Air National Guard, there are many mission military missions that Airmen are apart of. One of the most unique missions the ANG is apart of is the 109th mission to Greenland. The 109th C130 Aircraft are equipped with wheel ski modified landing gears, allowing them to land on the snow an ice in unforgiving terrain.
